There can be a multitude of reasons we pursue Music the way we do. People we know and people we admire. Our culture shape how we see the rest of the world. Our family can impact the level of passion we exert in any and all endeavors, music or otherwise.
With that being said, it’s good to examine what fuels your musical pursuit. The great thing I can say is that I was encouraged by my Dad to journal all my life experiences through songwriting. The good, the bad, the amazing and the depressing. But that’s the ebb’s and flows of a life well lived but, music made the journey better in the good times and bearable in the low points.
A song can transport you into a heartfelt moment in time and bring you on the other side stronger than when you started. Music is so great that way it can encourage and lift your spirits. It also lifts up those around you. Are we not inspired and encouraged by those on our song lists? Of course we are!
So, maybe its time for you to Learn some of those songs you so enjoy listening to. Maybe you can start creating your own song lists that you may inspire others with. I would like to help you start Musical pursuits.
