As a musician I find this time of year very inspirational. The excitement and anticipation of a positive change put me into a great mood. I am more motivated to pick up my instrument and play with a hyper level of fun and an ability of self expression that flows more naturally. I’ve been here before but it always feels like a new experience. Let’s see…

Longer days and warmer temperatures, yes it’s spring! One of the great things about living here is the experience of the four seasons in Canada. Spring is one of my favorite seasons. It hits all your senses and fills you with a state of expectation and awe. What will each new morning reveal as the spring thaw demands the snow to retreat and the greys and browns give way to greens and a full painters pallet of colour as new life emerges.

I would encourage you to get outside and take in the beauty that has been hid by the cold and snow of winter. Take in the sights and sounds, no electronics, just you and nature and maybe someone close to you as it’s good to share the experience with others.
